Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with teaching staff to identify students who require additional support and designing targeted intervention strategies
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed records to track their development

  • Promoting a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence, self-esteem, and a love of learning
  • Communicating regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with

  • A relevant university degree or equivalent qualification in education, psychology, or a related field
  • Proven experience working as a Learning Mentor, Tutor, or in a similar educational support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students and their families
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance the learning experience
  • A deep understanding of diverse learning styles and the ability to adapt your approach accordingly
