Childrens residential support worker

Provide day-to-day care and support to children with learning disabilities in a residential setting.

Support children with daily routines, including personal care, meals, education, and activities.

Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.

Encourage and support independence, life skills, and personal development.

Plan and participate in activities, outings, and recreational opportunities.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and care plans in line with safeguarding policies.

Work closely with families, social workers, and other professionals.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

Follow all safeguarding, trauma-informed care practices, and health & safety procedures.
