The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our client based in Tamworth. This Production Operative role is within the manufacturing industry and offers full training, with possible permanent positions available following a successful trial period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative looking to develop their skills within the manufacturing industry. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

Job Role - Production Operative (Manufacturing Industry)

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling board panels ready for the next stage of production. The role involves working with a variety of materials, following production instructions, and ensuring all products meet required quality standards within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and laying up panels accurately following production instructions
  • Selecting and using the correct materials for each production job
  • Bonding panel assemblies using approved processes and techniques
  • Ensuring materials are prepared and assembled to required specifications
  • Carrying out quality checks on completed work
  • Identifying and reporting any defects or issues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Following all company health & safety procedures and policies

Requirements

Essential

  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual approach to work
  • Ability to follow instructions and production processes
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Desirable

  • Previous production or manufacturing experience (not essential)
  • Experience working within a fast-paced production environment
