The Engagement Officer is an integral role within the college, ensuring that all employer engagement activity across the faculty
areas of responsibility are met. The Engagement Officer will work as part of a team, supporting Foundation and Pathways students
to access suitable work experience opportunities.
About the role
As the Engagement Officer, you will be required to establish links with external organisations and employers to maximise
opportunities for students to participate in meaningful work placements.
Your role will involve, but will not be limited to
* Secure placements for T-Level and Foundation & Pathways faculty
* Support curriculum managers with their employer engagement activities
* Provide employers with information, advice and guidance
* Visiting students & employers on T-Level work placements
* Provide reports and statistics
To fulfil the role of
Engagement Officer you will have
* Excellent written and communication skills
* Highly adaptable and student focussed
* Ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
* Level 2 English & Maths
* Experience of working in further education and progression pathways a distinct advantage
* SEND careers advisory experience desirable
