About this role
Location
Leeds, West Yorkshire
Job Type
Full-time | Part-time | Flexible Hours
No matter where you are in your nursing career, whether you've recently qualified or already have valuable experience, we'd love to hear from you. We provide the support, training and opportunities to help you continue growing as a nurse.
We believe great nurses are developed through support, not just experience. That's why we welcome newly qualified nurses and provide comprehensive training, mentorship and ongoing clinical support to help you build your confidence from day one.
If you have around one year's post-registration experience, your skills and knowledge will be highly valued as you continue to grow with us.
Why Choose Community Nursing?
No two days are the same. You'll build meaningful relationships with the people you care for, develop a broad range of clinical skills, and make a genuine difference by helping individuals remain safe and independent in their own homes.
Unlike busy hospital wards, you'll have the opportunity to deliver truly person-centred care while managing your own caseload with the support of an experienced and approachable clinical team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in clients' own homes.
- Complete holistic assessments and develop person-centred care plans.
- Administer medication and manage long-term conditions.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, PEG care, stoma care and other clinical interventions.
- Monitor changes in health and escalate concerns when needed.
- Work closely with GPs, hospitals, families and other healthcare professionals.
- Keep accurate electronic care records.
- Promote independence, dignity and choice for every individual you support.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
- Newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply.
- Nurses with around one year or more of post-registration experience are highly valued.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A willingness to learn and continue developing clinically.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
What Makes Comforting Healthcare Different?
We know choosing your first nursing role, or your next one, is a big decision. That's why we've created an environment where nurses feel supported, valued and able to thrive.
We offer
- A structured induction with full training and ongoing clinical support.
- A welcoming team that genuinely invests in your development.
- Regular mentorship and opportunities to build confidence in specialist clinical skills.
- Flexible working patterns to support a healthy work-life balance.
- The opportunity to work independently while always having clinical support available.
- Career progression into senior, specialist or leadership roles as you grow.
-A varied role where every day brings new experiences and opportunities to learn.
-Company uniform provided.
