• Health risks and impacts;
• Economic and environmental management of chemicals;
• Water and wastewater, agriculture, forestry and transport sectors; and
• Addressing cross cutting challenges like land-use, flood-risk management, and investment in nature.
Our clients include private, public and third sector organisations in the UK and internationally.
We are looking to recruit an economist to join our in-house team as a Researcher providing support across all service areas. You will work with other researchers and the wider team to, undertake evidence reviews, contribute to economic appraisal and evaluation projects; undertake statistical analysis and stakeholder engagement, and contribute to report and proposal writing.
We are seeking someone with strong numerical, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to express complex ideas simply and logically. You will be a highly motivated team player who is flexible and willing to take initiative. You should also have an interest in and knowledge of environmental issues in general and policy in the UK and EU.
Interested applicants should submit their cover letter, CV and a short writing sample to jobs@eftec.co.uk. In the cover letter, applicants should explain how they meet the essential and desirable skills listed above. Applications that do not meet the essential criteria may not receive a response.
