£49,387 to £56,515 per annum

Location

Royal Stoke University Hospital, Newcastle Road, Stoke-on-Trent, with occasional work expected at County Hospital, Stafford What we are looking for Nursing qualification with relevant post-registration experience, including at least one year of recent experience in palliative care or end-of-life care. Non-Medical Prescribing qualification, or willingness to work towards one. Mentorship or teaching qualification. Specialist knowledge of palliative and end-of-life care, including current national guidance. Ability to independently manage symptoms and side effects associated with medical conditions and initiate appropriate treatment. Ability to observe and assess clinical practice to evaluate standards of care. Understanding of emergency care systems and discharge processes. Experience managing complex discharges within an emergency department is preferred but not essential. Experience leading a team of nurses or healthcare professionals. Masters degree desirable.
