I am an 18 year old girl with Autism and ADHD living with my family in Ashford, Kent. I attend College 3 days a week and am motivated and ambitious about my future.

I am looking for a Personal Assistant for 6 hours per week during Term Time to provide support with my morning routine - building personal care routines and getting ready for the day. During non-term time weeks (13 weeks of the year) I would like help to develop independent living skills and to support me to access the community by going to activities I enjoy.

I rely on my Mum for most things and I would like a PA to help me to achieve independence with things such as meal preparation, laundry, basic household chores and budgeting. I would like encouragement to set personal goals and create a daily/ weekly schedule and be able to spend short periods of time at home without my Mum.

I have a few phobias which make life challenging but I’d really like to overcome them with support from the right person.

We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible so applicants may be contacted shortly after submission of the application form.

Days of work during non-term time weeks can be negotiated. If you are interested in the post and are non -judgemental, open, genuinely caring and empathetic and can see yourself helping a young person like me please apply.
