About the Service

Ty Cwm Gwendraeth is a 49 bed complex nursing home supporting adults male and female with mental health, huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including sports, pub visits, botanical gardens, fishing and bowling, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

About the Service

Cwm Gwendraeth is a 59 bed complex nursing home supporting adults male and female with learning disabilities, mental health, Huntington's disease and acquired brain injuries.

The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including music therapy, arts & crafts, swimming and social outings, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, mental health, ABI, and dementia to live life their way.

You’ll

Support independence and personal goals

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care

Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings

Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing

Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support
