Aston Law School is seeking to appoint a motivated and talented academic to join our community as a Senior Lecturer or Reader in Law.

About the role
The successful candidate will contribute to the School's research, teaching and external engagement activities and will play an important role in supporting Aston Law School's strategic aspirations.
You will develop and deliver high-quality research, publish in leading academic outlets, contribute to curriculum development and enhancement, and provide an excellent learning experience for students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will also engage with external stakeholders and contribute to activities that enhance the impact and visibility of the School's work.
The role offers opportunities to contribute to academic leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, doctoral supervision and the continued development of our research and teaching environment.
Appointments will be made at Senior Lecturer or Reader level depending on experience, achievements and evidence of academic leadership.
Candidates appointed at Reader level will be expected to demonstrate a substantial record of internationally recognised research, research leadership and wider contribution within their discipline.
