About this role

We are excited to be recruiting for a Project Worker to join our team at Charles England House in Patchway.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference by supporting young people, including young parents and care-experienced young people, as they build the skills and confidence they need to move on to independent living.

If you share our values and have experience working in supported accommodation—or transferable skills in supporting people and managing housing-related responsibilities—we would love to hear from you.

Please find full details of how to apply via our website in the advert below. The deadline for application submissions is 23:59, Monday 10th August 2026.

Social Justice and Passion

we strive to do something that matters and take pride in seeing the results of our work in social outcomes and improving young people’s lives.

How we work

At 1625ip our work is rooted in Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) and Trauma-Informed Practice (TIP). Our Psychologically Informed Framework shapes how we build relationships, use our spaces, and support young people. This means we prioritise safety, trust, collaboration, and understanding the impact of trauma in every interaction. You don’t need prior experience in PIE or TIP to apply - we’ll support you to learn and develop these approaches in the role.

• Using your knowledge and creativity, you will help young people maximise their income and manage their rent accounts, including addressing any arrears, reinforcing a positive rent culture.

• Through your enthusiasm, you will be able to work on your own initiative but also alongside your team, ensuring a safe and thriving home environment for young people.

• By being well organised, efficient, and effective you will undertake a host of housing management tasks, including preparing properties for letting, supporting young people in entering and leaving our service and Health and safety checks to ensure the safety of young people, colleagues and the project.
