Leeds Junior Conservatoire is recruiting for a Lecturer - Music Technology

Leeds Junior Conservatoire (LJC) is a thriving community of talented young musicians, creators and performers from across Yorkshire and the North, providing exceptional opportunities for students aged 8–18 to develop their skills, creativity and artistic ambitions. We are seeking an inspiring Music Technology Lecturer to join our Saturday School team and help shape the next generation of music producers, digital creators and artists. Working with talented musicians aged 11–18, you will support students to explore music production, recording and music technology in our professional facilities, helping them build confidence, discover new possibilities and develop their creative voice.

At LJC, we are proud to offer an inclusive and supportive environment where young people from all backgrounds and experiences can thrive. Our ambition extends beyond developing musical skills; we nurture creativity, self-expression, curiosity and a lifelong love of music. As part of our close-knit and collaborative tutor team, you will work alongside passionate educators and industry professionals who are committed to creating outstanding experiences for young people. Through sharing ideas, supporting one another and continually developing our curriculum, we aim to ensure every student has the opportunity to realise their potential.

Interviews will take place on 10 August 2026.

Music Production – supporting students to develop recording, mixing and mastering skills using professional studios, Mac labs and industry-standard software.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a practitioner who enjoys helping young people explore creativity through technology, whether they aspire to be producers, composers, sound engineers, artists or simply passionate music-makers.
