The Elective Care Performance Manager (Band 7) is a senior operational role within the Corporate team, responsible for driving improvements and overseeing performance across elective care pathways. The focus is on delivering national and local key performance indicators, ensuring efficient elective care services, and supporting operational teams to meet performance, quality, and access targets. Performance & Data

  • Monitor elective care performance against national KPIs (e.g., RTT and DMO1).
  • Conduct detailed data analysis and provide actionable insights.
  • Support operational areas with performance reporting and forecasting.

Operational Leadership

  • Lead service improvement initiatives and contribute to change programmes.
  • Manage resources effectively and ensure delivery to deadlines.
  • Provide line management, coaching, and support to staff.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work collaboratively with managers, clinicians, and external partners.
  • Use strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to drive change.
