Carpenter (CSCS)

Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to join a well-established company in and around the West Midlands area.

The Role

. Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry work to a high standard on residential and commercial projects.

. Install bespoke joinery, including doors, frames, skirting, architraves, staircases, fitted furniture, kitchens, and other custom timber products.

. Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site plans to ensure accurate installation.

. Measure, cut, assemble, and fit timber and other materials with precision and attention to detail.

. Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

. Identify and resolve installation issues while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.

About You

* Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker or Gold Advanced Craft preferred).

* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent recognised qualification).

* Full UK driving licence and transport, with willingness to travel to various project sites.

* Good understanding of manual handling procedures and safe working practices.

* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality bespoke workmanship.

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexibly to meet project demands.

Hours

Monday to Friday

08:00am - 16:00pm

Pay

£15ph+ (Negotiable based on experience, mileage paid for + commute time to/from site)
