About this role
Are you passionate about patient care and looking to make a real difference?
Ward 44 at King's Mill Hospital is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support worker to join our busy respiratory ward.
Ward 44 consists of 24 beds, including 3 bays and 12 en suite rooms. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside an established and excellent Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes patient-centred care. We strive to provide the highest standard of care to our patients, many of whom are undergoing treatment for respiratory conditions.
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the clinical team and ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Your duties will include assisting with daily activities, monitoring patients, providing emotional support and helping to maintain a safe and clean environment. You will work closely with nursing and medical staff to ensure all patients' needs are met efficiently and empathetically.

We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.
We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
