Enderby Parish Council is seeking a dedicated and versatile Senior Grounds Maintenance Lead to join its team. This is a high-profile role where you will be the "face of the Village," ensuring the Enderby Parish Council’s green spaces, play areas, and community assets are maintained to the highest standards.
The Role
This isn't just a mowing job. You will lead the day-to-day upkeep of our Parish, combining hands-on horticultural work with team leadership and community engagement. From managing the Village open spaces and Cemeteries to conducting safety checks on play equipment, your work will directly impact the quality of life of Enderby residents.
Key Responsibilities
•
Grounds Maintenance
Carry out maintenance, including lawn maintenance, tending to flower beds, hedge cutting, tree planting/pruning.

Team Leadership
Supervising a small team.
•
Safety & Compliance
Conducting weekly ROSPA-standard playground inspections and managing tree safety surveys.
•
Seasonal Duties
Winter gritting, floral display maintenance, and preparing the village for community events.
What We’re Looking For
•
Experience
Proven background in grounds maintenance with experience leading a team.
•
Qualifications
You must hold a full UK Driving Licence and PA1/PA6 Pesticide Certificates. City & Guilds NPTC tickets are highly desirable.
