The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client based on the Lichfield Road Industrial Estate in Tamworth.

This Production Operative role is working for a family-run business that produces, distributes, and installs fibreglass water storage tanks across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on individual looking to join a supportive production team within the manufacturing industry.

Job Role - Production Operative (Manufacturing Industry)

As a Production Operative, you will support the manufacture and preparation of fibreglass water storage tanks, ensuring products are completed to a high standard. The successful Production Operative will work closely with the warehouse and production teams, using hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Using hand and power tools safely
• Trimming and laminating fibreglass water tanks
• Working within spray booth areas
• Supporting the production process from start to finish
• Working closely with the warehouse manager and wider team
• Maintaining accurate records and paperwork
• Keeping the working area clean, safe, and organised
• Completing any other production duties as required

Requirements

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills
