This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Day to day duties of the role include, but are not limited to
- Ensuring that supplier payments are processed through the Accounts Payable module of the Finance system, in a timely manner.
- Processing purchase invoices through the Accounts Payable module of the Finance system (registering and matching), in a timely manner.
- Administering the College's sales income collection facility and resolving any customer queries, including debt management.
- Processing and reconciling the College Groups' daily banking and recording through the Cash Book module of the Finance system.
- Processing and distributing monthly customer statements, dealing with any related queries, and updating customer account information, as and when necessary.
Required skills and qualifications
- Recognised Finance qualification or actively progressing to achieve.
- Knowledge and experience in using financial systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Understanding of purchase and sales ledger processing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll and related matters.
