We are a family-run nursery located in the heart of Vauxhall, London, providing a caring, inclusive and inspiring environment where children, families and staff feel valued.

Our nursery operates from a purpose-built building opened in 2018, which has recently been renovated and redecorated to provide a bright, modern and engaging setting. We are also surrounded by beautiful parks, gardens and local attractions, all of which play an important role in enriching our children's learning experiences through regular outings and outdoor exploration.

As our nursery continues to grow, we are looking for passionate Nursery Practitioners who are excited to develop their careers and grow alongside our team.

Role Overview

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and early years education, supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding care and learning opportunities for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development.

Build warm, positive relationships with children, parents and carers.

Observe, assess and record children's progress accurately.

Promote children's wellbeing, safeguarding and individual needs at all times.

Ensure the nursery maintains high standards of health, safety and hygiene.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive and positive environment.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery and its provision.

Person SpecificationEssential

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).

A genuine passion for working with young children.

Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

A positive, caring and professional approach.

Development Opportunities
