Part Time Lecturer - Voice in Context Lectures (BA Voice) & Research Seminars (BA Voice)

About the Role

The School of Popular Music & Voice wishes to appoint a Part Time Lecturers across the BA Voice curriculum, to deliver teaching and assessing and undertake any other work associated with relevant modules. The teaching term follows the Undergraduate Music Academic Calendar. Note that other duties may fall outside of the term time weeks.

The start date for the teaching will be w/c 21st September 2026, but with planning and preparation happening prior to this week.

We are looking for staff for the following modules

Industry Skills (Year 2) – from Sept 2026

Voice in Context (1 hour teaching per week for 10 weeks, both semesters)

Professional Skills (Year 3) – from Sept 2027

Voice in Context (1 hour teaching per week for 10 weeks, both semesters)

Specialist Study Research Project (YEAR 3) – from Sept 2027

Research Seminars (1 hour teaching per week for 5 weeks, both semesters)

We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with a particular academic/research interest in areas related voice and voice music through the lens of musicology or ethnomusicology.
