About this role

My client, a steel manufacturing company, based in Wellingborough are looking for 3 experienced Machine Operators due to continued expansion.

MACHINE OPERATIVE - Day Shift, 06:00 - 14:00, Monday to Friday,

£14.35 for weeks 1-12, £14.45 from week 13

Position 2

MACHINE OPERATIVE - Night Shift, 22:00 - 06:00, Sunday to Thursday,

£16.62 for weeks 1-12, £17.44 from week 13

Both positions are 37.5 hours per week, on a 12 week Temp - Permanent, based Finedon Road Industrial Estate, Wellingborough.

Setting and operating the machine

Working to customer specifications

Ability to use a variety of hand tools

Some repetitive lifting

To work as part of a team, supporting and assisting others, flexible in different areas

Previous experience working within an engineering/manufacturing environment

Must have previous machine operative experience (Setting & Operating a machine)

A keen eye for detail

Methodical approach to new tasks.

Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions.

Punctual and reliable, flexible approach to covering holidays and other shifts on short notice

Can use Vernier calliper's and micrometre measuring equipment.

Ability to complete administration accurately including use of good numeracy skills.
