What You'll Bring

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with babies or toddlers within an early years setting.
  • Previous leadership experience as a Room Leader, Deputy Room Leader, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding.
  • Confidence leading, supporting, and motivating a room team.
  • A warm and responsive approach to caring for babies and toddlers.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Bonus scheme
  • Competitive annual leave package
  • Support with CPD and professional development
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

  • The opportunity to join a new nursery and play a key role in shaping your room and team from the beginning

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the Baby or Toddler Room.
  • Create a nurturing environment that supports children's emotional security, learning, and development.
  • Inspire and guide the room team, promoting consistently high standards of practice.

  • Build trusted relationships with parents and families, ensuring open and positive communication.
  • Monitor children's progress and ensure their individual learning journeys are supported.
  • Support practitioners with their professional development and provide guidance where needed.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS practice.
