About The Academy Selsey

The

Role of the Science Teacher

* Delivering high-quality teaching across the Science curriculum, engaging and inspiring students of all abilities

* Planning lessons that are both challenging and accessible, ensuring all students reach their potential

* Contributing to the development of the Science department and collaborating with colleagues across the school and Trust

* Participating in extracurricular activities and promoting a love of science beyond the classroom

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Passion for teaching science and inspiring students

* Strong classroom management and organisational skills

* A collaborative, reflective approach to teaching and professional development

* Commitment to contributing positively to the school and Trust community
