Knowledge of waste and recycling services, relevant legislation, or local government operations is essential.

About the role

This post will contribute to the implementation of projects and initiatives designed to improve recycling performance, reduce residual waste, and promote sustainable waste management practices across residential and commercial sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Council in meeting national targets and delivering the priorities set out within the Corporate Plan.

About the team

The Recycling team have been in place for many years and have developed the awareness and importance of recycling to the residents of Exeter through communications, community work, customer and resident contact and shear passion. They work closely with the other members of the Waste Operational team to ensure that each day issued are resolved and policies are followed.
