We are seeking an Evening Receptionist to join our luxury Care Home Mantles Court based in Biggleswade. The 75-bed Care Home combines a well-connected, family-friendly location with thoughtfully designed homes offering spacious open-plan living, contemporary finishes and private gardens.
As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our Home, providing a professional and friendly service to residents, visitors, colleagues and callers.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous Experience as a Receptionist preferred
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to lone work
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
- Confident in communicating face to face, via phone and email.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Reception & telephone support — delivering a comprehensive front of house service to staff, visitors and callers.
- Managing deliveries — ensuring items reach the correct recipient and are not left unattended.
- Processing invoices — completing authorisation paperwork and passing it to the Home Manager.
- Maintaining reception areas — keeping the foyer and reception clean, tidy and welcoming.
- Organising the post room — ensuring the post room and stationery cupboard remain well‑ordered.
- Handling outgoing mail — preparing and bagging daily mail for collection.
- Monitoring stationery supplies — ordering stock as required.
- Supporting the Home Manager — undertaking additional duties aligned with your skills and competencies.
- Computer literacy is essential.
