We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Oakmoor Lodge Care Home in Bushey. This luxury, 72 bed state-of-the-art care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring beautifully designed lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, spa room, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and landscaped gardens, all within easy reach of Bushey’s vibrant local community
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead with compassion, inspire the team and make a real difference every day. Turn your passion for care into leadership and help create exceptional moments for residents every day.
What You’ll Bring
- Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
- You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
- Reviewing and updating care plans.
- Giving personal care to residents.
- Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift
