About this role

The EM ward round activity includes the review of patients admitted under the care of the ED team. This patient group includes patients with head and chest trauma, not requiring care in a major trauma centre. The ED clinic assesses / reviews patients with various conditions, including: soft tissue injuries, burns, head injuries and chest injuries. Dedicated clinical radiology review sessions support the filing and actioning of imaging results / reports. On call commitments are non-resident, based on the ability to return to the department within 30 minutes.
