We are seeking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician with substantial knowledge and practical experience within Pharmacy Dispensing Services.
Team Dispensary is a welcoming, friendly and inclusive team who are committed to improving the service we provide to our patients. We welcome applications from Registered Pharmacy Technicians working in all sectors.
The post is 37.5 hours per week.
You will be supporting the Dispensing Services Manager and Chief Technicians in ensuring the maintenance of an efficient safe dispensing service within our Dispensary at The Queen's Hospital Burton On Trent.
You must have excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure you are able to liaise closely with our service users and Pharmacy colleagues.
The successful candidate will have Dispensary experience, hold a BTEC or NVQ Level 3 (Pharmaceutical Services) qualification or equivalent, and have current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). We will also consider qualified pharmacy technician or due to qualify as a pharmacy technician by September 2026.
The post offers opportunities for development and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to grow and share their development with the department. There will be a requirement to participate in weekend and bank holiday working on a rotational basis.
