We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our welcoming team at Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. This luxury 75-bed care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring stylish lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all in the heart of Rickmansworth

As a Catering Assistant you will support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience that promotes residents health, wellbeing and dignity.

What You’ll Bring

• A team‑focused attitude and good communication skills
• Experience in food preparation and service preferred, however full training is provided
• Familiarity with hygiene standards
• Reliability and good Customer Service skills
• A positive, caring and compassionate attitude
• Ability to follow Chefs

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Preparation and serving of meals
• Assisting residents with dining needs where required
• Follow high standards of food hygiene and health & safety
• Support the kitchen team with cleaning and washing duties
• Supporting with stock and storage
• Follow any other task requirements from the Chefs
