We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Service Administrator to join our Machinery Service Department at Carr’s Billington, Carlisle. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of a busy workshop operation.
Working closely with the Service Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the department, supporting both our customers and internal teams across an extensive product range including Massey Ferguson, Krone, Weidemann, Yamaha, Ovlac, Stihl and Ferris, to name just a few. THE JOB
As Service Administrator, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day administration of a busy machinery workshop, ensuring high standards of service, organisation and customer care are consistently delivered.
Your key responsibilities will include
Administration of warranty claims and associated documentation
Invoicing and ongoing customer liaison
Administration of machine registration and customer care processes
Supporting the Service Manager with day‑to‑day team coordination and work scheduling
Maintaining departmental standards and procedures
Managing phone and workshop reception, acting as a professional first point of contact
Acting as a key link between departments and branches across the wider Carr’s Billington network
Undertaking any other tasks associated with the efficient operation of the workshop
You will also be required to adhere to all Company and Group policies and procedures, including those relating to Safety, Health and Environment, and to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice.
