A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef—or an exceptional Junior Sous Chef ready for promotion—to join the award-winning team at a leading Michelin-starred restaurant in Jersey.

The role
Working alongside the Head Chef, you will help manage the daily operation of the kitchen and support a brigade of 12 chefs. You will maintain exceptional culinary standards and confidently lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
Your responsibilities will include
-Supporting the smooth running of every kitchen section
-Maintaining consistently high food, presentation and service standards
-Leading and motivating the kitchen brigade
-Supporting, training and developing junior chefs
-Monitoring stock and ordering supplies when required
-Contributing ideas to seasonal menus
-Ensuring preparation, cooking and plating are completed efficiently
-Maintaining excellent food-safety, hygiene and compliance standards
-Working closely with the Head Chef and wider management team
