We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our Hotel Styled Boutique feel Care Home in Bishop's Stortford, a contemporary luxury 78-bed residential home. Elm View Care Home is positioned as a modern, purpose-built care home with a strong focus on high-end facilities, hotel-style living, and personalised care.
As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident’s wellbeing.
What You’ll Bring
- You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
- A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
- Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
- Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
- Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
- Following health and safety policies and procedures.
