About the Role

The Enhanced Team East is an integrated mental health team, where Social Workers work as part of the multi-disciplinary team. We work with adults, between the ages of 18-65, who are experiencing significant mental health needs in the community. We are looking for a Senior Social Worker (with or without Approved Mental Health Professional status), to join our supportive team. This post is advertised as a full-time post (37 hours per week); however, part-time hours will be considered. We are based at Baghill House in Pontefract.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Social Worker, your knowledge, empathy and professional curiosity will help promote wellbeing, independence and choice for the people we support. You will work with people with complex mental health needs. The team uses a multi-disciplinary approach in supporting the people using our service. As a social worker in the team, you will be working directly with mental health colleagues from South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. A whole team approach is used to support people at times of increased need.

Using a strength-based, person-centred approach, you will have the opportunity to empower individuals to live as independently as possible, ensuring their voices are heard and their care reflects what matters to them.
