About this role
At eXPD8, we're looking for a proactive, people-focused Client Services Manager who understands that great client delivery is more than just meeting expectations once, it's about building long-term partnerships, driving growth, and empowering your team to excellence.
This isn't a role that can be defined by a simple list of daily tasks. As a Client Services Manager, you'll balance client relationships, commercial performance, operational delivery and people leadership. Some days you'll be leading client reviews and personally analysing performance data; other days you'll be coaching team members through challenges, helping solve operational issues, or stepping in to support delivery when deadlines are tight.
Success in this role truly comes from being adaptable, organised, commercially aware, willing to learn, and genuinely invested in helping both clients and colleagues succeed.

Location
Hybrid - ideally able to come to our Bristol Head Office twice a week but we can be flexible for an outstanding candidate.
How you'll deliver excellence
-Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and becoming a trusted partner.
-Leading client meetings, reviews and performance discussions with confidence.
-Managing budgets, KPIs, SLAs and identifying opportunities for account growth.
-Using data and reporting to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and turning insights into meaningful recommendations.
-Coaching, mentoring and developing Account Managers, Handlers and Admins.
-Acting as a trusted sounding board for your team, helping them solve problems and make informed decisions.
-Understanding and supporting operational processes so you can provide guidance when challenges arise.
-Working collaboratively across the business to ensure clients receive outstanding service.
-Continuously looking for better ways of working and supporting your team through change and growth.
What makes you excellent
We're less interested in someone who can simply manage a client portfolio and more interested in someone who can build confidence, develop people and help teams succeed.
You'll ideally bring
-Experience managing client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong people leadership, especially in coaching and mentoring skills.
-The ability to balance commercial priorities with excellent client service.
-Confidence presenting reports and discussing performance data.
-Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
-A positive, solutions-focused mindset.
-Natural curiosity and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
-Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-The confidence to challenge, influence and make decisions when required.
Experience that would be beneficial
-Field marketing, retail or FMCG experience.
-Experience managing operational delivery teams.
-Strong Excel skills. However, you don't need to be an Excel expert from day one, if you're willing to learn, we'll support your development.
-Data analysis and reporting experience.
-Experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
