About this role
The Role
What you will do?
Vita Health Group, part of Spire Healthcare, is seeking compassionate and motivated Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) to join our NHS Talking Therapies service, supporting individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression.
Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working remotely and supporting patients within your local community.
We're looking for clinicians who are passionate about improving mental health outcomes, thrive in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, and are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based Step 2 interventions. If you're ambitious, empathetic, and eager to help people take positive steps towards recovery, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Using your clinical expertise, you will assess the suitability of new referrals through telephone assessments and provide short term, low intensity interventions via telephone, online webinars, and computerised CBT (CCBT).
- Where needed, you will work closely with colleagues at Steps 3 and 4, and external services, to support safe onward referrals and step ups, at all times maintaining and advocating for patient dignity, confidentiality and inclusivity.
Essential Criteria
- A Graduate/Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Low Intensity Interventions (Adults)
- BABCP or BPS registration or pending registration (if returning to practice and not sure how to meet registration requirements, we are happy to discuss prior to interview)
- Experience of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem
- An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
If this sounds like the right fit for you, we look forward to welcoming you to the team!
Applicants who applied in the last 3 months need not apply.
