Senior Social Worker or Senior Practitioner - PO3

This is an experienced practitioner role, post will be full time, 5 days a week both office based 2 days a week and hybrid 3 days. Candidate will be required to undertake home visits to respond to safeguarding concerns within the 24-48 hour timeframe. With specific responsibilities for dealing with safeguarding Triage and section 42 enquiries, including complex case work, Mental Capacity and appropriate management of risks, protection plans and providing casework supervisions to other team members. Candidate required to work with Adults, families, carers and communities to help them make informed decisions, enabling them to clarify and express their needs and contribute to Safeguarding protection plans and outcomes. Act as a recognised expert within the specialist field. Contribute to the development of practice and policy in the specialist field.
