About this role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced postgraduate researcher to work with a multi-disciplinary research team across Swansea and Cardiff Metropolitan Universities, Public Health Wales and the All-Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Committee (AWTTC). Job share considered.

The research focusses on the co-production of illustrated communication resources to enhance public engagement with the four goals of the ‘

Your Medicines

Your Health’ (YMYH) agenda to support optimal medicines use in Wales.

Main duties will include

Conducting focus group or one-to-one semi-structured interviews with older people across Wales to capture their views on the development of visual communication resources to promote the YMYH initiative.

Convening a project steering group to oversee the project, liaise with members and arrange regular meetings, setting agendas and taking notes.

Liasing with illustrators, public, patients, pharmacy professionals, behavioural scientists and other relevant stakeholders to organise and plan co-production workshops in different locations in Wales.

Booking venues and make travel arrangements (as required) for individuals involved in the co-production workshops.

Overseeing the data collection process for the project and contributing to the analysis of data where appropriate working with the Project Lead (Prof James).
