This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional to join a busy Legal Services team, providing legal advice, guidance, and representation on matters relating to Planning, Highways, Rights of Way, and supporting major projects.

Key Responsibilities of Legal Practitioner

Provide legal advice, guidance, and representation to internal and external clients.

Manage a varied caseload involving Planning, Highways, Rights of Way, and other legal matters as required.

Represent the Council in legal proceedings and attend meetings to provide legal advice.

Support colleagues within the Legal Services team and contribute to service delivery.

Ensure compliance with legislation, professional standards, and the Authority's policies and procedures.

Keep up to date with changes in legislation and contribute to service improvements.

Build positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

Deliver high-quality legal services while meeting performance targets and deadlines.
