We are looking to recruit to vacancy which has arisen within the Medical Workforce Team
The role of the Allocate/Medics E rostering Manager is an integral part of the Medical Rostering Team in supporting the delivery of timely rota creation and e-Rostering across the medical workforce. The post holder will be responsible for managing the Medics E Rostering team and to provide comprehensive support to all key staff involved in rostering including colleagues within medical staffing, clinical and operational staff as required. This role requires an ability to work under pressures to strict deadlines, manage a team member and fully engage with the Trust clinical workforce to support the understanding and adaptation to, the effective use of e-Rostering tools. The rostering of medical staff and the creation of compliant effective rotas is imperative, without which the Trust cannot function effectively.

The role will also involve delivering training to staff, developing and maintaining use guides, update training, assisting in testing of upgrades, producing reports to support Medical Workforce management
The role involves working closely with Medical Resourcing Officers and Safe Working Hours Advisor as well as Medical Workforce Manager and Deputy Medical Workforce Manager

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support and maintenance of the Trust's Allocate workforce management systems, ensuring users receive a responsive and effective support service.
Working closely with Medical Resource Officers, managers and service users, the post holder will provide advice and guidance on system functionality and rostering processes, resolve technical and user queries, maintain system configuration and data quality, and support the implementation of new functionality and system enhancements.
The role will deliver training to staff, develop and maintain user guidance, assist with testing and upgrades, and produce routine and ad-hoc reports to support workforce management and operational decision-making. The post holder will liaise with the system supplier to facilitate issue resolution and ensure that system changes and updates are implemented effectively.
The post holder will also support the development of rostering best practice across the Trust, contribute to workforce systems projects and service improvement initiatives, and provide day-to-day line management and support to the Allocate Administrator.
