About this role

Fancy putting your customer service skills to good use over summer, with proper training and decent pay to go with it?

Our client is bringing in a team of Customer Service Advisors to help clear a backlog of enquiries. You’ll get two weeks of classroom training first, so you're not thrown in at the deep end and will be considered even if you’ve not worked in an office before.

It's temporary to start (8 weeks, with the potential to run on).

Pay

£15.07 per hour, made up of £13.45 basic pay plus £1.62 statutory holiday pay (holiday pay is built into your hourly rate while you're temporary)

Location

Northwich (fully office based)

Hours

37.5 hours per week, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute break, working between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday (shift patterns include 8-4, 9-5, 10-6 and 12-8). Weekend shifts available for anyone who'd prefer two weekdays off instead.

temporary, 8 weeks initially, with a chance of extension

What will you be doing as the Customer Service Advisor?

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to emails from customers
  • Booking contractors in to resolve issues
  • Logging everything accurately onto the system
  • Keeping customers updated on progress and realistic timescales
  • Splitting your time between calls and emails depending on what's busiest that day - expect around 30-40 calls on a typical day

What do you need in order to be considered for the role of Customer Service Advisor?

  • Good IT skills, and comfortable picking up new systems quickly
  • Able to talk and type at the same time without losing track
