Health & Social Care Lecturer - Further Education

The Role

As a Health & Social Care Lecturer, you will

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across Health & Social Care programmes.
  • Teach a range of topics including anatomy and physiology, safeguarding, person-centred care, equality and diversity, communication, and health promotion.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements.
  • Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students to achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and maintain accurate learner records.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • A Level 3 qualification or above in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or a related subject.
  • Relevant industry experience within the health or social care sector.
  • A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET, DTLLS, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous teaching or training experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and helping learners achieve their career ambitions.
