We offer both accredited and non-accredited ESOL courses across Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock and in surrounding communities.

We are looking for an outstanding Teacher of ESOL with a track record of success, with passion, enthusiasm and flair to join our progressive and forward-thinking team.

The successful applicant will have a subject specialist qualification, a full teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) together with experience of teaching ESOL and or functional skills English. Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply for the post.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering, an inspiring and carefully sequenced ESOL curriculum to adult groups in college and potentially, surrounding communities. Teaching will focus on our accredited provision, ranging from entry level to level 2 and the successful candidate will have a key role to play in recruitment via our open days and through effective communication with our Adult Community Learning team to ensure learners progress effectively.

The successful candidate should be confident and able to implement up to date teaching and learning pedagogy, both within the classroom and through online learning mediums.

The individual should have the vision and capability to adapt the curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment to suit the needs of our diverse range of learners, from different geographical backgrounds and support needs, ensuring progress is made.

In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with their English and maths Curriculum Manager, as well as Director of English and maths, to ensure the department continues to move forward in this exciting curriculum area.
