As a Level 2 Early Years Apprentice, you will support the team while working towards your qualification, gaining hands-on experience in a nurturing and professional setting.

Your responsibilities will include

• Assist in providing high-quality care and education to children.

• Support the team in planning and delivering engaging activities.

• Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

• Learn and apply best practices in early years education while working towards your qualification.

Working Week

5 days - Monday to Friday

Qualifications Required

GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths (or willingness to achieve Functional Skills if required).

Commitment to completing an Early Years apprenticeship qualification.

Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

• Functional skills in Maths and English if required

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Future Prospects

They can progress up to Management Level.
