About this role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Specialist Grade Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our mental health services in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior clinician to provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults with complex mental health needs, working as a key member of a supportive team. The provision in Rotherham offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
Psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, peer support colleagues and partner agencies work together to provide holistic care that considers mental health, physical health, social circumstances and recovery goals. The interface with primary care also supports early identification and onward referral, ensuring that people are guided towards the most appropriate pathway as their needs change.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to service development, quality improvement, recovery-focused practice and closer working across community and acute pathways. The breadth of local provision, combined with a clear commitment to compassionate, person-centred care, supports both high-quality patient outcomes and meaningful professional development.
