Pastoral Support / Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
The Governors and Headteacher of Ince CE Primary and Nursey School are seeking to employ a pastoral support deputy designated safeguarding lead to join our Pastoral Team, who embodies the Christian vision and values of our school.
Ince CE Primary and Nursery School is a large two form entry primary school in the heart of Ince.
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, innovated professional who has high expectations of themselves, colleagues and pupils, and have the energy and determination to make a difference.

Key responsibilities include
- To assist in the assessment of students to identify those in need of particular support.
- To co-ordinate support and intervention strategies and intervention packages, both internal and external, for vulnerable students.
- To manage record systems and processes and be responsible for child protection documentation.
- To carry out Early Help meetings.
- To assist the Pastoral Team in pupil attendance.
- Arrange and lead meetings with parents/carers and external agencies in the support of pupils and their families.
- Conduct home visits with another member of the Pastoral Team.
- Encourage good practice by promoting and championing the child protection policy and procedures.
- To be the deputy designated safeguarding lead.
