Our service encompasses our Blackpool Families Rock values and we are seeking an experienced and skilled Team Manager to join our wonderfully dedicated practitioners who continue to make a huge difference to the children and families of Blackpool.
Team Manager – Family Safeguarding
We are looking to recruit an experienced and skilled social work practitioner to the role of Family Safeguarding Team Manager. This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for an experienced social work professional who is committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for children. You will manage a team which comprises of a senior social worker, a number of social workers of varying experience, a family worker and an adult practitioner (either DA worker, substance misuse worker or MH Practitioner).
We are searching for a candidate with a high skill level and significant experience in Help and Protection Social Work. Our Family Safeguarding Service works with families, in partnership with other agencies, for children supported by Child in Need, Child Protection, Pre-Proceedings and Care Proceedings until the point of permanence decisions. We are a highly supportive and skilled management team, both within the Family Safeguarding Service, and within the wider Children’s Social Care Teams in Blackpool.
The Family Safeguarding Service is a stable team with positive working relationships, a supportive management structure and accessible senior leadership. There is a strong emphasis on quality social work practice and making a real difference to the Children and Families we work with.
