We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Senior Support Worker.

Grange Mount is a supported living flat scheme in the heart of Birkenhead. Here we support up to 6 adults with a range of needs including learning disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours that can challenge. Our aim is to promote independence and inclusion, enabling people to lead a full and productive life within their community.

What you’ll be doing
- Assisting the Registered Manager with the operation of the service
- Leading and motivating the team
- Rota management duties
- Responsible for completion of audits
- Working effectively as part of a team
- You will be part of an on-call rota
- 40 hours per week, shift times are 8 am to 4pm and 2 pm to 10 pm, will also involve working weekends and bank holidays
Who you are
- You will have a minimum of one year of experience working in a social care setting
- Previous experience in a senior role is preferred but not essential
- You will have a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care with a willingness to work towards and complete your level 3
- Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
- You are a strong, effective communicator with the ability to lead and motivate others
