Our Oncology team in our Derby Hospital currently have an internal opportunity for an Oncology Administrator. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.

As an Oncology Administrator you will;

-

Processing administrative paperwork for arriving and discharging patients

-

Liaising with insurers regarding treatments.

-

Ensuring governance is maintained within the unit by supporting the Lead Oncology Nurse

-

Handle enquiries and general queries.

-

Maintain databases.

Provide secretarial services such as minute taking, WP and diary management.

To succeed as an Oncology Administrator you will;

-

Be a confident and customer-focused communicator with the ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data, and to present it in a timely and professional manner.

Ideally be educated to GCSE in English and Maths, with NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.

Have good IT and keyboard skills (essential)

Have experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be a real advantage.

The Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.
