About this role

This is post for an ST3+ level offering a speciality training in Cardiology. As well as specialist sessions (cath lab/ multi-modality imaging/ clinical reporting/ meetings) and out-patient clinics the post holder will support the general cardiology service. On a rotational basis the post-holder will contribute to management acute cardiology patients across the Trust, including CCU and the cardiology wards.

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3+ level) in Cardiology

The Royal Free is a highly regarded teaching hospital and is a part of the UCL Academic Health Science Partnership. The Cardiology department provides secondary and tertiary services to the residents of north central London and is one of London’s designated heart attack centres providing 24/7 primary PCI. As well as routine cardiac care, it is also a leading centre for cardiac amyloidosis, carcinoid heart disease and adult pulmonary hypertension.

There is a highly dynamic invasive coronary, complex device and EP/ablation programme delivered across the Royal Free and Barnet Hospital sites. There is also a comprehensive, state of the art multi-modality imaging service which includes advanced echocardiography on both sites, and high volume cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI on the Royal Free sites.
