About this role

Operational Management Support the Practice Manager in the day-to-day running of the practice. Assist with developing and implementing practice policies, procedures, and systems. Ensure efficient administrative processes are maintained across the practice. Identify opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiency. Assist in managing premises and facilities issues, liaising with external contractors where required. Staff Management and Support Support the recruitment, induction, training, and development of staff. Assist with rota planning and workforce management. Provide day-to-day guidance and support to administrative and reception teams. Promote effective communication and teamwork across all staff groups. Support performance management processes as required. Patient Services Ensure high standards of patient care and customer service are maintained. Manage and investigate patient feedback, concerns, and complaints in accordance with practice procedures. Support initiatives to improve patient experience and access to services. Promote a welcoming, professional, and patient-focused environment. Governance and Compliance Assist in ensuring compliance with CQC standards, NHS contractual requirements, and relevant legislation. Support information governance, data protection, and confidentiality requirements. Maintain accurate records, audits, and compliance documentation. Assist in the implementation of risk management and health and safety procedures. Finance and Resources Support the Practice Manager with budget monitoring and resource management. Assist with procurement and stock control. Contribute to the achievement of Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and enhanced service targets. Monitor administrative processes to ensure value for money and efficiency Information Technology Support the effective use of clinical and administrative IT systems. Assist staff with the implementation of new systems and processes. Ensure accurate data collection and reporting where required.
